What is Swansea Start?

A community for the technology businesses in Swansea, to bring them together to help each other be successful. We encourage local people to start their own tech businesses and assist them in this.

What is the technology world?

Companies the leverage the internet to provide services. Some of the biggest companies in the world are tech companies, like Facebook, Twitter and Apple.

Is there money in the tech world?

The barriers to entry are now very low and 1 person can develop a successful business in their spare time. Facebook was developed by 1 guy coding for 24 hours in his dorm room, which recently floated for $100 billion.

Who makes up the community?

Anyone with the desire to start a tech business
